The Amur, or Siberian, Tiger is the largest subspecies and is endangered; few remain. They are found in the Amur River region of the China-Russia border. A few may survive in North Korea.

This picture has an oriental feel about it which is as it should be. Tigers are one of my very favorite animals. I still have a picture of one you did a long time ago in colored pencil.
